Burning is only allowed between Jan. 15 – May 1
from 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.
Daily Activation is only allowed between the hours of
9:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m.
The 2026 Open Burning Season begins on January 15, 2026 & ends on April 30, 2026.
Burning permits can be applied for. Please log into your account, apply for a 2026 permit, and process the seasonal burning permit payment. Log into your account between 9 a.m. and 11:59 a.m. to see if burning is allowed for the day you want to burn. Activation can only occur if burning is allowed and during the morning hours. Burn piles must be extinguished by 4 p.m.
